COP17/CMP7 Expression of Interest

Durban will be hosting the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) COP17/CMP7 international climate summit from 28 November to 9 December 2011. The eThekwini Municipality has accepted the responsibility for calculating, minimizing and mitigating the "local" carbon footprint of the event.

As part of the COP 17 Greening Programme, please download the Expression of Interest for service providers to contribute towards the mitigation/offset of the COP 17/CMP 7 Event Carbon Footprint. The purpose of this Call for Expressions of Interest is to provide an opportunity for owners or suppliers of renewable energy and verified emissions reductions to submit proposals for the donation of renewable energy and/or verified emissions reductions to mitigate or offset the COP17/CMP7 carbon footprint.
