Dress Code
The Climate Change Secretariat proposed that the dress code for participants at the upcoming COP17/CMP7 be adapted to take into account the weather conditions in Durban.
The President designate, H.E. Ms Maite Nkoana-Mashabane, Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa and Ms Christiana Figueres, Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, have exempted secretariat staff from wearing jackets and ties.
The Secretariat and President designate invite participants to follow suit.
